HR & Systems support

We support orgs to bring your systems into compliance and ease. We can research and shift you over to better systems for your organization (hiring, onboarding, annual evaluations, HRIS, etc), update policies and handbooks, and audit existing policies for equity and values alignment.

We also provide hourly HR capacity, for crunch times such as open enrollment, hiring surges, or to fill in during other HR & operations employees’ extended leave.

Benefits Coordination

We’ll audit your existing benefits to identify the gaps in employee coverage, and support with the implementation of cost-saving measures to ensure that you & your employees are more sustainably & equitably resourced.

We can support your staff to navigate the medical-industrial complex & insurance agencies to get the care they require. We do this using a Peer Healthcare Coordination model, in which we walk alongside your employees and support their navigation of the bureaucracies that so often keep us from care.

Conflict Support

We support teams and individuals through the interpersonal, group, and organizational conflict that is a regular part of organizational systems.

Our services include individual coaching, group facilitation, and training for teams of all sizes. Our most popular presentation is “Conflict Resolution for the Movement”, an interactive 90-minute workshop for groups of all sizes.

Accessibility

Centering disability justice requires intentional time and energy that most organizations do not have specific staff to support. We work with your teams, systems, and leadership to make organizational systems, conversations, and benefits fully accessible to all employees and job applicants.

We also supportĀ individual process development for employees who are struggling with developing their own systems and/or navigating their own brains and bodies. This coaching (as with all of our coaching) is rooted in a disability justice framework.

We facilitate retreats and meetings that center on relationship building and strategic conversations, opening space for the joy & healing that is so often missing in our movements.

Management Development

We provide a variety of management trainings, individual management coaching, and collaborative problem-solving with managers & HR departments for a wide range of management concerns.

Who We Are

We help organizations and individuals move through the places where they get “stuck” – in their leadership, relationships, and organizational decisions. We support local nonprofits as well as multi-million dollar international organizations, and all of our work is grounded in a vision for our collective liberation.

Beta Coronel (she/they) is a first-generation mother, healer, facilitator, and organizer. She’s a New Yorker with well over a decade of organizing, strategizing, and campaigning. She’s a co-founder of Sunrise Movement, and brings a grounding in the ways our personal, interpersonal, and institutional realities weave together in our lives.

Elliot Altomare (he/they) is a white trans person who lives in rural CT. He brings a decade of experience in progressive operations & HR, as well as a grounding in conflict transformation & leadership coaching.

Lauren Maurice (she/her) is a multiply-Disabled white cis-woman, a full-time wheelchair user, and a disability & patient advocate. Her mission is to support anyone navigating this hazy network of systems and supports, to defend those traumatized by a world that refuses to respect their humanity, and to help individuals reclaim their agency so they can move forward confidently in their health journeys.

Together we bring a commitment to interdependence, collective liberation, disability justice, community resilience, and survival. There is joy in this work, joy in our shared humanity, and joy in building a future where we can all survive. We would be honored to walk alongside you in this world.
